Mockumentary
The mockumentary subgenre presents itself as a documentary but is entirely fictional or satirical in nature. Mockumentaries mimic the style, format, and conventions of traditional documentaries, using techniques such as interviews, voiceovers, handheld camera work, and archival footage to create a realistic appearance. However, the content and events depicted in mockumentaries are intentionally fabricated for comedic or satirical purposes.
